  • Subscription and expense data you manually enter into the app
  • Account credentials (username and password, or sign-in via Google or Apple)

Information collected automatically — mobile app

Payment information

We do not store payment details directly. All payments are processed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. Their privacy policies apply to payment data.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Create and manage your account
  • Provide subscription tracking and spending prediction features
  • Improve app and website performance and fix bugs
  • Understand aggregate website traffic and usage trends (via Google Analytics)
  • Respond to your questions and support requests
  • Send essential account and service-related emails (such as sign-in, password reset, and account notices)
  • Comply with legal obligations

We will never sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Email Communications

We send essential, account-related emails needed to operate the service, such as sign-in confirmations, password resets, and important account notices. We do not currently send marketing or promotional email campaigns. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and provide a clear way to opt out of any non-essential communications.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We share data only with the services necessary to operate Monthly Clarity:

  • Supabase — secure database and authentication
  • RevenueCat — subscription billing
  • Apple / Google — app distribution, sign-in, and payments
  • Google Analytics — website usage analytics only (not used in the mobile app)

All third parties are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it to provide services on our behalf.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. For data deletion requests that do not involve deleting your full account, we remove the relevant information from our active systems within 30 days. Some information may be retained in secure backups for fraud prevention and legal compliance purposes.

Deleting Your Account

Monthly Clarity users can permanently delete their account and all associated data directly within the app:

  1. Open the Monthly Clarity app and sign in
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm twice when prompted

Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes all of your bills, payment history, recurring bill schedules, and account change history from our active systems, along with your login credentials. This action cannot be undone. We do not retain a copy of your deleted data beyond what is described above for backups, which are purged on our standard backup rotation schedule.
